James B. Freehill, III, of East Greenbush, NY died on July 25, 2018 at Albany Medical Center. He was 42. The son of Shirley Edsall and the late James B. Freehill, Jr., he was born on July 18, 1976 in Newburgh, NY. He worked for Hospitality House in Albany prior to his recent stay at home dad position. He was never without a book, either on his phone or actual book. He LOVED to read! Jim was extremely passionate about his pool game and spent many years competing on various APA teams. He was an excellent cook, and he loved being a stay at home dad. His two sons were everything to him and family was most important to him. He would help anyone out, even two strangers after death with the donation of his heart and liver..He never let his handicap define him and he loved the outdoors. Everyone will very much miss his quick wit, humor and sarcasm. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Joan Freehill, and his two sons: JT (James Talbot) and Sean Freehill, as well as his mother, Shirley Tuthill and her husband, Richard; brothers, Joseph Freehill and Shawn and Adam Tuthill; grandmother, Lucreia Whittaker and several nieces and nephews.
