Submitted by Pauline Rute Hall 1952 <Grammypgh@aol.com> on 19/Aug/2018 Edward Charles Lynch In memoriam, Edward Charles Lynch died peacefully at home in Yonkers, NY on November 4, 2011. He was the sixth of 9 children of Laura Bowen-Lynch and Joseph Lynch. Born on January 21, 1929 in New Windsor, NY he was 82 at the time of his passing. He married Anna Teresa Hickey-Lynch on January 30, 1954 at St. Luke's Church. He was orphaned at 16 and graduated from Newburgh NY Free Academy high school. He earned Honorable Discharges from both the US Navy after 4 years of service and 4 additional years of service in the US Air Force. He spent many years as a Traffic Manager for Kentile Floors; he continued working into his early 70s. Upon passing in 2011 he was survived by his beloved wife Anna Teresa Lynch and a younger brother Frank Lynch; daughters Nancy (Brian) Condon of Hilton Head Island, SC and Linda Lynch of Mt. Vernon, NY; grandchildren Brian Condon Jr. of Flowery Branch, GA, Craig (Michele) Condon of Woodstock, GA, Kelley (Daniel) Cordero of Atlanta, GA, Rachel Condon of Atlanta, GA, Patrick Duggan of Highland Mills, NY and Kristine Duggan of Highland Mills, NY; great grandchildren Brionna Condon, Trevor Condon and Brianna lacovino. A 10:30 prayer service will be held at Sauls Funeral Home, Bluffton followed by 12 noon burial alongside his beloved wife at Beaufort National Cemetery on August 23, 2018.
