Charles "Chuck" Joseph Zamenick, age 71 entered into eternal rest on September 24, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Newburgh, NY on April 13, 1947 to the late Stephen and Mildred Zamenick (Uhler.) Charles was a 1965 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and the U.S. Army Training Center, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky in 1967 receiving and honorable discharge from the Air National Guard in 1970. He worked as a Machinist and retired from the Gap in Fishkill, NY. Charles was a loving Husband, devoted Father and Grandfather who will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors include his Wife Jean Zamenick at home, Daughter Debra (Liam) Mcilmurray, Son Richard (Belinda) Randall, and one cherished Grandson Garrett Randall as well as several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his Brother Stephen Zamenick and Sister Barbara Diefendorf. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm on Friday, September 28 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh, NY. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, September 29, at Brooks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
