Patricia (Pat)
Gibb Dumont, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House surrounded by her loving family on Sept. 25, 2018. She was born in New Windsor, N.Y. in 1934, the daughter of Charles and Katherine Gibb. She grew up and attend local schools in Newburgh, N.Y. Pat enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school, met her husband and settled down in Brunswick, Maine. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and pets. Surviving are Joanna Dumont, Vice Adm. Michael Dumont (Scott Nycum), Charles Dumont (Pamela), Patsy Murphy (Dick), Bill Dumont (Karla Leclair), Katherine Dumont (Skip McKay), Jennifer Dumont (Jeremy Law), Stephanie Houle (Daniel); her grandchildren, Mason and Colby Haley, Karineh and Narineh Dumont, Jonny Law, Noah and Sarah Dumont; as well as many wonderful friends. The family would like to extend their appreciation for her exemplary care at both the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough and to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. At Pat's request there will be a private graveside service and celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: a charity of your choice or to: Pat's favorite charity, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland
