Anna "Annie" J. Pushman Craig of New Windsor, NY entered eternal rest on Friday, October 12, 2018. She was 81. The daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Dabroski) Pushman, she was born in Newburgh on November 6, 1936. Annie graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and worked as a bookkeeper for Affron Fuel Oil. Annie was warm-hearted and always welcomed you with open arms. She was a Catholic that grew up working with her mother and sister in the St. Francis bargain basement. She had several bookkeeping jobs and even went over the road with her husband Alfred. She then finished out her working career bookkeeping. She was a dedicated housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all. We would like to give a special thank you to her close friends: Sweetie, Sis, Neile, Chici, Beanie and her cousin Joan. Annie is survived by her children William Purcell of Newburgh and Brenda Luis of Pine Bush; grandchildren: William C. Purcell of Maryland, Anthony Petrolese of Bloomingburg, Bethann Purcell of Maryland, Alecia Luis of Pine Bush and Ashley Luis of Maybrook; great-grandchildren Isabella Petrolese, Adrianna Petrolese, Declan Purcell and Grayson Purcell; niece Joann Deyo, and close family friend Brett Potter. Annie is predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred Craig, sister Betty Wright and nephew Ronald Wright. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, from 2-5pm at Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh. Funeral service will take place Monday, October 15, at 11am at the funeral home, with burial following in Mt. St. Francis Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Senior's Club, 555 Union Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553
