Joe was the closest person to having a brother that I will ever have.
We joined the Navy together on May 1, 1961. He asked my to be his best man at his wedding. We skipped a lot more days of school than I will ever admit to. We always went to Bear Mountain on opening trout day and eat the trout we caught over an open fire in a buttered frying pan.
We skipped school to fish the Hudson river and to drive to Cooperstown to the baseball hall of fame or to NYC for a ball game. Any excuse was a good one to skip school. We even double dated a lot of evenings. We rode the same school bus -- when we were not skipping school.
Joe had a MAJOR impact on my life in a number of ways and now Joe you remind me to ENJOY every second of every day and to LOVE everyone we know and see for our LORD we ask us to leave this world someday and come home to home in our permanent home in HEAVEN.
We will fish a lot more days together in HEAVEN Joe. Until then I ask our Lord and Savior to bless you and keep the fish biting in your permanent home in the sky!
Love Ralph
