Marian Babcock LeMunyan - Class of 1944

    Marian LeMunyan "Dolly" formerly a lifetime resident of New Windsor, NY passed away at Crestview Center, Langhorne, PA on October 8, 2018. Born in New Windsor, NY on February 19, 1926 to her late parents, Elmer and Marion (Mills) Babcock, Marian was a lifelong resident of New Windsor, NY before moving to New Hope, PA in 2006. She was formerly employed as a secretary with the NY State Department of Correctional Services in Fishkill, NY for over 20 years. Marian enjoyed playing cards, reading, crocheting, ceramics, playing Jeopardy, outdoor activities, and especially helping others. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert B. LeMunyan; devoted mother of Greg LeMunyan and wife, Susan Murphy, and the late Albert B. LeMunyan, Jr.; dear sister of John Babcock and wife, Angie, William Babcock and wife, Ann, Donald Babcock and wife, Phyllis, Edward Babcock and wife, Gertrude, Shirley Early and her late husband, Jack, and the late George and Robert Babcock; loving grandmother of Daniel LeMunyan, Lauren LeMunyan, Adam Murphy-LeMunyan and Chloe LeMunyan. Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 66 Clinton Street, Cornwall, NY 12518. A luncheon and life celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. following the memorial service at New Windsor Fire Department, 275 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, NY 12553.
