Regina M. Monaco Warf of Endicott, New York passed away at home on Sunday, November 11th, 2018. She was 64. Regina was born at St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh, NY on December 27th, 1953 to the late Joseph J. and Florence F. Monaco. She was the youngest of eight children. Regina graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1971 and pursued a career in nursing and healthcare. She was a nurse for over forty years and was Director of Health and Wellness at Brookdale Vestal East, Vestal, NY for the past sixteen years. Her co-workers at Brookdale became a very important second family to her. When she spoke of them it was with love and respect. We will be eternally grateful to all of them for helping her through this ordeal, especially Colleen Vollmer-Hunt, her boss and best friend and Renee Walicke. Renee made at least a hundred trips to Regina's home with food and whatever else she might have needed. You will all be blessed for your deeds. She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Sears, (Jason) of Williamsville, NY and two sons, Jeffrey M. Warf and Daniel A. Warf, both of Buffalo NY; one granddaughter, Jillian Sears of Williamsville, NY; one brother, Frank Monaco (Margaret) of Ocala FL; and one sister, Barbara Colurciello (Andrew) of Holly Springs, NC; nieces, nephews, several aunts, uncles, many cousins; one special friend, Bill Greynold. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by four brothers: Gesidio "Chip" (NFA-1954), Joseph, Nicholas (NFA-1965), and Anthony and one sister, Florence Palumbo (NFA-1964). A Memorial service will be held at at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11 at Brookdale Vestal East. All are invited to attend. Replies to this post No replies yet |
