John T. Cummings, aka "Doc", passed away November 29, 2018 at the Mountain Valley Residence in New Windsor, NY. He was predeceased by his parents John P. and Anastasia Cummings and brother Phillip C. Cummings. John served during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967, and was a past member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He retired from IBM in Los Angeles, California after 30 years of service, and Cornwall Hospital after 9 years of service. Survivors include his sister Patricia Smith and husband John of Marmore, NJ; his brother Robert J. Cummings and wife, Marion T. of Surfside Beach, SC, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh, NY.
