Susan Rubin Meryl - Class of 1972

Rubin Meryl , born August 26, 1954 and a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY entered into rest suddenly on Thursday December 27th surrounded by family and friends at St Luke's Cornwall Hospital. She was 64. Daughter of Anne "Honey" Rubin and Herbert Elliot Rubin, she is survived by her brother Michael Louis Rubin, and beloved nephews Joshua Elliot Rubin and Michael Paul Alto.
Susan was a devote Christian and member of the Hudson Valley Christian Church of Newburgh, N.Y. and an active participant in a prayer line ministry serving those in need of spiritual guidance. Susan graduated from Orange County Community College summa cum laude and spent much of her life in close communication with God while mentoring family and friends on spiritual, personal and professional matters. She was an inspiration to all whom had the pleasure to grace her presence and was pure, honest, and genuine in her unconditional love for all.
A private memorial for Susan will be held at a later date.
