Mary Graziano Ledbetter, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Mary was born on October 14, 1932 in Cornwall, NY to Vincenzo and Maria (D'Antona) Graziano. She grew up surrounded by a big Italian family with eight older siblings: Charles Graziano, Michael Graziano, Jennie Perri, Jack Graziano, Angie Witchard, Connie Sherwood, Rosie Daly, and Louis Graziano. She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1950. On October 10, 1954, she married the love of her life, Ulysses Wylie "Chuck" Ledbetter Jr., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newburgh, NY. Mary and Chuck traveled extensively while Chuck served in the Air Force, living in New York, Washington DC, Italy, Texas, Nebraska, Germany, and Montana before settling in Pensacola FL. Together, they loved and raised four children: Gary, Lynn, and twins Bruce and Beth, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary lived life to the fullest and never ceased to love and charm those around her. She was adored and will be greatly missed by both family and friends. She was genuine to the core and you only needed to know her for a few minutes to fall in love with her. She was known as "Meme" by her grandchildren and that became her moniker by most everyone close to her. She is "hun" to only one -- her husband Chuck, a loving gentleman. She is "Aunt Mary" to her nieces and nephews as well as numerous family friends. She's also known as "Ms. Mary" and "the neighborhood rock" by many neighbors and friends. Mary was a devoted member of Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church. She took a sincere and compassionate interest in her family, friends, and neighbors. She was also devoted to her daily 6 mile walk. It was her exercise, her meditation, a time to reflect and pray and her time to socialize with her neighbors. One of her most treasured qualities was her ability to make everyone laugh. She had a quick wit, a sassy verve, and the right balance of sarcasm and irony. Her sense of humor was her signature and will live on in everyone that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. She is survived by her husband, Ulysses "Chuck" Ledbetter of Pensacola, FL; son, Gary (Sally) Ledbetter of Yankton, SD; daughter, Lynn (Ed) Hart of Pensacola, FL; son, Bruce Ledbetter of Jersey City, NJ; daughter, Beth Ledbetter of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Beth (Kevin) Goodman of Concord, NC, Olivia Hart of San Diego, CA, Andrew Hart of Pensacola, FL, Lisa (Brian) Disch of Norfolk, NE, Scott Schneider of New York, NY; great-grandchildren, Buddy and Joseph Goodman, Allison and Caleb Disch, and many beloved nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church from 1:00PM until the Funeral Mass at 2:00PM on Monday, February 4, 2019 with Father James Grebe, celebrant. Active Pallbearers will be Edward Hart, Andrew Hart, Kevin Goodman, Scott Slusser, Mark Quigley and Robert Rickman. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Ledbetter Memorial Fund at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital via http://giftfunds.stjude.org/Ledbetter
