Dana Danielle Scott, 39, a resident of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Newburgh, died
suddenly at her home on Friday, December 29, 2006. She was born July 15, 1967 in
Newburgh, N.Y., the daughter of Yvonne Bowman Massingale and Robert Scott, who
survive her. Dana graduated in 1985 from Harding High School in St. Paul, Minn.
She was employed by Rio Pinar in Orlando, Fla. for the past ten years. Dana was
the devoted mother of two daughters, Shana and Antea, who survive her. In
addition to her parents, stepfather, Fred Massingale and stepmother, Gloria
Scott, all of Newburgh; she is survived by three brothers, Robert Von Scott of
Haverstraw, N.Y., Kenneth (K.D.) Scott and his wife, Dee Dee of Newburgh and
Jarib Massingale and his wife, Daphny of Spring Valley, N.Y.; her half-sister,
Jocelyn Harvey of Summitville, N.J.; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces,
nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends. Dana was predeceased by her
maternal grandparents, Robert and Clara Bowman; and paternal grandparents,
William (Gus) and Rebecca Scott. There are no calling hours. A memorial service
will be attended by the family. Arrangements by Brutus W. Hodge Funeral Home, 13
