Wilma Mae Hunter Anzalone of Newburgh, died peacefully on Saturday November 6, 2010 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. She was 73 years old. Daughter of the late John and Marie Courtock Hunter, she was born January 28, 1937 in Goshen. Wilma was the widow of the late Michael Anzalone Sr., who preceded her in death in 1986. Wilma was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a witty personality and like to tell jokes and brain teasers. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to sing. Her smile was genuine and heartwarming. Survivors include her loving children: Nicholas Anzalone of New Windsor, Michael Anzalone, Jr. and his wife, Tracey of Dunedin, FL, Anna Steinhauer and her husband, Gary of Milton, John Anzalone and his companion, Cynthia Ernst of Ulster Park; her sisters and brothers: Sally LePari, Jeanne Longo and her husband, Michael, Daniel Hunter and his wife, Cheryl, William Hunter, John Hunter and his wife, Heidi; her brother-in-law, Charles Anzalone and his wife, Nancy; her 12 grandchildren: Cory, Nicholas, and Gregory Anzalone, Jennifer Santa, Paul and Richard Miller, Tiffanie Gravante, Tyler Edwards, Peter Guarino, Michelle Fishman, Dominick and Michael Moglia; her ten great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Anthony Anzalone, Michael Stuart, Taya Santa, Brittany and Chelsey Miller, Nikki Flagler, Jaeden Anzalone, Nariessa and Aniella Hill. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jill Moglia; a son-in-law, Dominick Moglia; a sister, Elsie McCord; a brother-in-law, Jim LePari, and her grandson, Jamie Anzalone. The family would like to thank the staff at Montgomery Nursing Home, St. Luke's Hospital and Dr. Krishna Dixit for their support and care. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Libby Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Teller Ave., Beacon. Services will take place at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 2 Jefferson Plaza, Suite 103, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
