Ruth Stillwaggon Beck - Class of 1938 (January)

Ruth Stillwaggon Beck of Grahamsville, a 22-year resident and homemaker, died
January 20, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus. She was 87.
The daughter of David A. and Mabel Krum Stillwaggon, she was born February 10,
1920 in Newburgh, NY. She was the widow of Nelson S. Beck, and a member of the
Leptondale Bible Church, Newburgh and attended the Community Bible Church, in
Wawarsing. Ruth worked for her father at Stillwaggon Printing, in Newburgh which
was organized in 1900. She is survived by her three sons: Kenneth Beck and his
wife, Barbara of Newark Valley, NY, Keith Beck and his wife, Linda of Ashville,
NC, Paul Beck and his wife, Elaine of Grahamsville; three brothers: Elbert
Stillwaggon of Newburgh, Donald Stillwaggon of Newburgh, Carl Stillwaggon of
Newburgh; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Loucks Funeral Home, Inc., 79 N. Main St., Ellenville on
Friday, January 25, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., with the Rev. Peter Davis officiate.
Burial will be in Orange County Verterans Cemetery, Goshen. Arrangements by
Loucks Funeral Home, Inc.; 845-647-4343. Published in Times Herald-Record on
