Virginia MacNary Bajgert - Class of 1939

     MacNary, Virginia Bajgert of Milliken died December 27, 2013 surrounded by her family and caregivers at Grace Pointe in Greeley. She was born March 24, 1922 in Fostertown, NY to Nathan Stewart, Sr. and Maude (Schiver) MacNary. Virginia graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY. On December 31, 1949, she married Ted Bajgert in Meadowbrook, NY. They lived in New York until 1965 when they moved to Boulder, where they lived until 1996. They then moved to Missouri and returned to Colorado in 1999 to reside in Milliken. Virginia worked for Devitt's G.L.F. in New Windsor, NY. after meeting Ted at their employment at First Carpet Company in Cornwall, NY. Virginia volunteered for Busy Bees and Meals on Wheels. She was an election judge and enjoyed bowling and gardening. She was a member of Johnstown United Methodist Church. Virginia is survived by her husband, Ted Bajgert of Milliken; daughters Dorothy Virginia Hart and her husband Don and Kathryn Ann Records; brother Lawrence Frederick MacNary, six grandchildren, six great grand children and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by four step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren and three step great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Karen Leigh Bajgert, brothers Robert Irving MacNary, Sr., Eugene Haldeman MacNary, John Roger MacNary, George Phillip MacNary and Nathan Stewart MacNary, Jr.; sisters Lois Maude (MacNary) Steele and Eleanor Elizabeth (MacNary) Keene. A graveside service will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery in Boulder. A celebration of life at the Johnstown United Methodist Church will be held at a future date.
