Rudolph G. Bondur - Class of 1944

    Rudolph G. Bondur, a lifetime area resident, living in his home in Cornwall-on-Hudson for the past 55 years, entered into rest on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in Highland, NY. He was 85. Son of the late Michael and Anna (Rupcic) Bondur, he was born October 22, 1926 in Newburgh. He was married to the late Mildred Bondur, who predeceased him in 2002. Rudolph was a graduate of NFA, and as a young man was active with ice skating and football. He proudly served his country in the US Army as a Tech Sgt. for 3years. He was a member of Newburgh Lodge #309 Masonic Order. He is survived by his son, Dick Mills, at home. In addition to his wife Mildred, he was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm on Sunday, August 12 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 13 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor. October 22, 1926 - August 9, 2012
