Margaret Sterling Reynolds Class of 1934

Union in Newburgh, entered into rest February 12, 2010 in Poughkeepsie. She was 93. The daughter of the late Joseph C. and Elizabeth Palmer Sterling, she was born February 23, 1916 in Newburgh, NY. She was the widow of James W. Reynolds who predeceased her in 1982. She was a volunteer for many years at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. Survivors include her two sons, James J. Reynolds and his wife, Sharon of Marlboro and William A. Reynolds and his wife, Dean of New Orleans; two grandchildren, James S. Reynolds and his wife, Jennifer of New Windsor and Christine E. Mackey and her husband, Edward of Marlboro; four great-grandchildren: Brian and Jacob Reynolds and Nicholas and Sarah Mackey; and a special niece, Shirley Sarinsky of Marlboro. Callings hours will be held Tuesday, February 16, from 4-6 p.m. at the Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home, Inc., 318 N. Montgomery St., Newburgh. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 17, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Roseton, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
