Germoll Sampson Brown - Class of 1989

Germoll Sampson Brown, an accountant, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn. He was 33. The son of Emmanuel Brown and the late Anesta Lawrence Frederick, he was born May 17, 1971 in Trinidad, West Indies. He was a 1989 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy; a member of Dabre Ganet Kidus Gabriel Ethopian Orthodox Church Tewahedo Church, East Orange, N.J. He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, LaShae Brown; one son, Ghamal Brown and their mother, Tamisia Smith all of Georgia; his parents, Emmanuel and Stephanie Brown of Trinidad, Lincoln and Ruth Frederick of Brooklyn; two brothers, Anthony Frederick and wife Ingrid of Oviedo, Fla., Kurt Frederick and wife Patricia of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Jacqueline Frederick of Brooklyn, Janette Frederick-Pierce and husband Hardy Jr. of Newburgh and Judith Frederick of Orlando, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, dear friend and spiritual teacher, Mahatima Selassie. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Service, 491 DeKalb Avenue, Brooklyn. Services begin at 7 p.m. Kes Tesfa Eyesus will officiate. Interment will be held Friday, January 28 in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh. Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, entrusted with professional arrangements.
