As printed in The Evening News on March 17, 1985:
R.I. MacNary:
New Windsor - Robert Irving MacNary, 69, of 457 Little Britain Road, died Friday in St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Newburgh, July 29, 1915, son of Nathan and Maude Schwer MacNary. Married to Muriel Johnson, he was a member of Operating Engineers Local 825, Middletown, he was retired from Windsor Building Supply.
Survivors include his widow; four sons, Robert MacNary Jr. of Gardiner, David R. MacNary of Marlboro, Alan R. MacNary of Anderson, SC., and John W MacNary of Newburgh; two brother; Philip MacNary of Bonita, Calif., and Lawrence MacNary of Hilton Head, SC; two sisters: Lois Steele of New Windsor, and Virginia Bajgert of Boulder, CO, and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call Monday at the Perrott-DiDonato New Windsor Memorial Chapel, wehre services will be held Tuesday.
