Paris Arie Ruffin, a lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 in Montgomery, N.Y. She was 19. The daughter of Reginald D. Ruffin and Sonia Ramos Ruffin, she was born May 17, 1987 in Newburgh, N.Y. Paris was a 2005 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, and was an Order Filler for Cardinal Health Services in Montgomery, N.Y. In addition to her loving and devoted parents; she is further survived by two brothers, Reginald L. Ruffin and Lomar O. Ruffin; two sisters, Shayla S. Ruffin, all of Newburgh, and Chaniquia C. Rossin of Eveles, Texas; paternal grandmother, Catherine Ruffin of Ellenwood, Ga.; maternal grandmother, Nora Velez of Newburgh; 13 aunts and uncles; two nieces and nephews; 28 first cousins; best friend, Nancy Morales of Newburgh; and several other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 from 10 to 11 a.m. at House of Refuge Church of God in Christ, 127-131 Broadway, Newburgh, N.Y. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with Elder Jeffrey Woody officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Middlehope, N.Y.
