Elizabeth (Betsy) Jadrosich - Teacher

Elizabeth (Betsy) Jadrosich,
of the Town of Newburgh - a retired school teacher for the Newburgh Free Academy English Dept., entered into rest October 24, 2007 at Glen Arden in Goshen. She was 80. The daughter of the late Frank R. and Mayne Daniel Ennis, she was born June 28, 1927 in Spartanburg, S.C. Mrs. Jadrosich was a member of both the state and local Teachers Associations, the Civic Theater of Newburgh, the Powelton Club and a senior board member of the Newburgh Day Nursery. She was also an avid golfer. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Fred W. Jadrosich. They were married on August 22, 1966. Also surviving is her brother, F. Robert Ennis of Colchester, Vt.; three nieces, Nancy Ennis of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Barbara Abramo of Lexington, Mass. and Peggy Seppala of Gillette, Wyo.; her nephew, Richard Ennis of Richmond, Vt. There will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be held on Monday Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Moulton Memorial Baptist Church, 20 Old Little Britain Rd., Newburgh. Betsy will be entombed in the mausoleum at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Route 9W North, Newburgh. Donations may be made to the Saint Luke's Dialysis Center or to the charity of one's choice.
