Born November 15, 1930, in Newburgh, NY, she died on Holy Thursday, April 2,
2015, with her daughter Debbie by her side. To her family she was the most
wonderful, kind, and loving Mom and they feel so very blessed to have her in
their lives. To the friends of her children she became a second Mom, loving and
encouraging them as though they were her own. She was a strong and healthy lady
who continued to work in jewelry sales until 3 months ago. She was sassy and
full of life, enjoying every day to its fullest. Her faith in God was
immeasurable. Left behind to celebrate her life and legacy are her three sons:
Jack, Jim and Clay Murray and their spouses; one daughter, Debbie Turner;
brother Herbie and sister, Kay. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert
and Ruth Polhamas; first husband, Jack Murray; second husband, Jack Thayer; son,
Richard Murray; son-in-law, Jerry Turner and sisters, Edith and Emma. Audrey was
also the proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one
great-great grandchild. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St.
Theresa Catholic Church Ladies Guild or St. Jude Children"s Hospital.
