Dorothy Geysen Bowman - Class of 1943 (January-camera shy)

  Dorothy M. Bowman, a retired food service worker at Washingtonville Schools and lifelong area resident, died October 24, 2003 at Campbell Hall Nursing Home. She was 78.The daughter of Edmund and Rachel Wright Geysen, she was born January 24, 1925 in Salisbury Mills.She was a member of Little Britain Grange, Washingtonville Presbyterian Church and worked at the country store in Washingtonville.She was the widow of David Bowman.Survivors include her son, Kenneth J. Bowman and his wife Susan of Rock Tavern; daughter, Barbara J. Bellinger and her husband Ivan of Rock Tavern; brother, Charles Geysen and his wife Bettie of Wappingers Falls; her sister, Barbara Stanton and her husband Thomas of Sun City, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Sherri Bellinger, Kimberly Bowman and Shayne Bowan; and one great-grandchild, Zoey Bowman-Calison; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Geysen.Visitation will be held from — to 6 p.m., Sunday, October 26 at the David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North St., Washingtonville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 27 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Washingtonville Cemetery, Washingtonville.   Charles D. Geysen - As per her brother Charles' obituary, Dorothy has passed. Obituary is attached: Charles D. Geysen passed away on February 27, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 93 years old. Charlie was born on July 24, 1926 in Newburgh, the son of the late Edmund and Rachel Wright Geysen. On February 2, 1977 he married the former Bettie Humphreys. Bettie predeceased Charlie on January 11, 2020. Charlie is survived by his children: George Geysen, Ronald Geysen and wife, Eileen, Gloria Gerard and companion, Kevin Morales, Patricia Porcaro and husband, Nicholas and Joanne Pesano and husband, Donald; his grandchildren: Chuck Geysen (Cathy), Daniel Geysen (Linda), Brian Geysen (Grace), Timothy Geysen, Nathan Gerard (Maggie), Richard Minard, Lindsay Welch and Lauren Porcaro (Brett); several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Charlie was predeceased by his siblings: Dorothy Bowman, Ronald Geysen and Barbara Stanton. Family and friends will gather from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations in memory of Charlie may be made to either Hudson Valley Hospice or a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Patrick J.
