John F. Maldonado of New Windsor passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh Campus. He was 21. John was born December 5, 1988, the son of John J. Maldonado of Florida and Catherine R. Castillo of New Windsor. John is survived by both parents; one son, Wayne Maldonado of Newburgh; two brothers, Caylin and Vincent Maldonado, both of Florida; and one sister, Tichishalese Maldonado of Florida. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, March 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hudson Valley Funeral Home, Inc., 239 Quassaick Ave. (Rte. 94), New Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 19, at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church in the Bronx. Burial will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.
