Virginia O'Donnell Deane 93 of North Port, Florida entered peacefully into eternal rest on May 30, 2020 with family by her side. Ginny is the daughter of Joseph O'Donnell and Lillian (Cooney) O'Donnell and was born on April 15,1927 in Newburgh, NY. Ginny graduated from NFA in 1944 and in 1945 married Joseph Deane of Bronx, NY in St. Mary’s Church in Newburgh. Joe preceded her in death in 2014 as did her son Jerry in 1994. She is survived by her daughters Debbie (Bob) Valone, Ginna Liles and sons Tom and Patrick Deane, grandchildren Justin Volpe, Sara Deane and Kristin and Cassidy Liles and great-grandson Killian Liggett. Ginny was a stay at home Mom until her children grew and then embarked on a career in banking with Monroe Savings Bank in Pittsford, NY from 1978 until she retired in 1990. After retirement Ginny and Joe spent fond and active years in Calabash, NC making many enduring friendships. They moved in 2016 to North Port, Florida to be closer to family. A private celebration will be held by family to honor Ginny's life.
