Sandy Mayen passed away on November 17, 2020 at Danbury Hospital, she was 73 years old. Sandy was born October 8, 1947 in Newburgh, NY. She is the daughter of Francis and Alvina Rhoades. Sandy was a bus driver for George M. Carroll from 1978- 2000. Survivors include her husband, Vincent Mayen of Marlboro. Her daughter, Kelley Paribelli and husband Patrick Paribelli and their children Daniel and Mikayla. Her son, James Mayen and wife Meaghan Mayen and their children Ryan, Aaron, and Shawn. Survivors also include her siblings Francis Rhoades and wife Susan, Richard Rhoades and wife Manuella, David Rhoades and wife Barbara, John Rhoades and wife Regina. Sandy is predeceased by her siblings Barbara Evans, William Rhoades and Mary Bachanovic. Sandy Mayen will always be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother. As well as sister, aunt, and friend. Her family was her hobby and she treasured every moment with them. She loved camping with her children and grandchildren. Sandy had a way of lighting up a room when she entered. She had a way of making people laugh and bringing out the best in them. Sandy was truly an amazing woman. Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 19, 2020 from 4-7pm. Funeral services will take place on Friday November 20, 2020 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
