William "Wee" David Harris - Class of 1946

  William "Wee" David Harris of Newburgh entered into eternal rest at home on May 6, 2013. He was 84 years old. The son of the late William and Evelyn Puliski Harris, William was born on October 18, 1928. Wee attended Newburgh Schools. He was married to Dorothy Hovencamp who predeceased him. William was retired from Eastern Castings in Newburgh. After his retirement he worked for and also retired from MacBeth in Newburgh. Wee was a lifelong bowling enthusiast and was a member of the Mid-Hudson Bowling Association Hall of Fame. He was also an avid Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Mets fan. William is survived by his brother Joseph M. Harris and his wife Lillian of New Windsor; his niece Jody and her husband Daniel Terralavoro, his nephew Jeffrey Harris and his fiancĂ© Jodie Jacaruso, his niece Karen and her husband Cecil Conrad, his nephew Doug Wolfe and his wife Cathy, and his nieces Mary and Carlene Wolfe. Visitation for William will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 am on Friday, May 10, 2013, officiated by Rev. Ernie Mossl. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Meals on Wheels program. - October 18, 1928 - May 6, 2013
