Joe P. DiCesare
Sr., of Wallkill, NY, retired General Manager for Affron Fuel Oil, Inc. for over 40 years, passed away on December 10, 2020. He was 93. The son of the late Pasquale and Mary (Rotunda) DiCesare, he was born in Newburgh, NY. Joe proudly served our country during WW II serving on the USS Walker destroyer (DD-517) in the South Pacific. He was a member of the 1961 Sacred Heart Dartball League Champions. Joe loved to get dressed up and go for long rides, and trying new restaurants. He is survived by his daughter, Marlene DiCesare-Crudele of Montgomery, his son Joseph P. DiCesare Jr. of Newburgh, daughter-in-law Joanne DiCesare, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Vito DiCesare Sr., his first wife and mother to his children, Rose Marro, and his second wife Louise DiCesare. Visiting to be held on Sunday, December 13, from 2-5 pm at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 on Monday at Sacred Heart Church, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery.
