Beulah
Vetrano Politi, daughter of the late Gennaro & Theresa Coppola Vetrano, born in
Yonkers, NY on 1/16/1924, entered into eternal peace on 1/7/2021. She was
greeted in heaven by her husband, Enzo N. Politi; her beloved grandson Michael
J. Politi; her son-in-law, Ken Thomas; her 9 siblings and several nieces and
nephews. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Mary Thomas;
Joseph E. Politi and his wife Ronnie; John W. Politi and his wife Lynn; James C.
Politi and his wife Marjorie, together with her much adored grandchildren,
Andrew Jones; Jeffrey Jones and his wife Kelly; Rebecca Jones; Stacey Buettner
and her husband Matt; Jenifer Politi; Nicholas Politi and his wife Letitia; Kari
McGowan and her husband Chris; Emily Pearl and her husband Tim; James Politi and
his wife Leilani; Samuel Politi and her "bonus grandchildren" the Kodilanen kids
and their mom, Tina Olsen. And lastly, her "crown jewels" her 12
great-grandchildren, Abigail and Olivia Buettner; Ethan and Allyson Jones; Emma
Jones; MaryJane, Augusten, Levon and Olive Politi; Christopher and Kayleigh
McGowan; and Lena Pearl. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. While
she will be most famously remembered by many for her years as a Tupperware
dealer, she was also a Past Regent of the Catholic Daughters of America (Court
Patricia 195); a member of the Red Hat Society; the Sacred Heart Pre-Cana
Society; and many, many other community organizations. Beulah was also able to
realize one of her dreams, owning her own knitting shop on Broadway in Newburgh,
The Sit & Knit Shop, where many a friend spent many an hour "kibbitzing and
knitting". Beulah was full of love for everyone she met and was the life of
every party. She will truly be missed by so many but her loving legacy will
remain with us always. We thank the many friends and family who were always
there to help our Mom over the years and the wonderful staff at Wingate Beacon
for their compassionate care in her final years. Visitation will be held from
4-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 14 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave.,
Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at Sacred
Heart Church, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of
flowers, please make a donation to a children's charity of your choice or
perform an act of kindness in her memory. - January 16, 1924 ~ January 7, 2021
