Ralph E. Pizzo, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. He was 50 years old. Ralph is the son of Susan Pizzo of Newburgh, and Ralph A. Pizzo and his wife Kathleen of Florida. Survivors include his daughters, Shannon A. Pizzo and Shayla E. Pizzo; his girlfriend who loved and supported him, Dawn Heroy; his uncle, Edward Lauffer; his aunt, Lynne Silvagni; his cousins, Kristin Silvagni, Jennifer Bannan and her husband, Matthew, Dana Ritchner and her husband, Steve, Erica Sayegh and her husband, John; great nephews, John and Daniel Bannan; and great nieces, Caitlyn Ritchner and Penelope Sayegh. Ralphie worked for over 30 years in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District as a custodian and a HVAC Mechanic. Ralphie was a loving father who always cherished his time with his daughters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and looking for shells on the beach. Ralph will always be in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. In keeping with the family's wishes services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ralph's daughters, Shannon A. Pizzo and Shayla E.
