Americk D'Addio - Class of 1959

   Americk Victor D'Addio, 79, of Altoona, FL, formerly of Ocala, FL passed away on February 9, 2021. He was born on March 15, 1941 to his parents, Clemente and Clementina (Vigliotti) D'Addio in Newburgh, NY. For Americk's education, he graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and then achieved a BS and MA in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Cortland. He served as a Physical Education Teacher and later as the Athletic Director of the Newburgh School District. Americk loved golfing, gardening, and was a member of the Osiris Country Club, Optimist Club, Charter Member of NFA Gridiron Boosters Club, and was on the YMCA Board of Directors. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Americk is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan D'Addio; son, Dr. Victor J. D'Addio & daughter-in-law Christina D'Addio; grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, and Sara. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony D'Addio, Luigi D'Addio; and sister, Hortense Pascale.
