         Ronald Ruckdeschel - Class of 1972 - age 66, of Sterling Heights, died April 28, 2021 in Groveland, Florida. Ron was born in Newburgh, New York on October 13, 1954 to his late parents, Robert and Violet Ruckdeschel. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley Kaczorowski. He was the loving father of David (Diana) Ruckdeschel and Stacie Ruckdeschel and the proud grandfather of Selina Ruckdeschel, Annika Ruckdeschel and Brayden Baez. He was the dearest brother of Robert, Raymond and Richard Ruckdeschel. Ron retired from IBM in 2015 after working for 17 years in customer support. Prior to working at IBM Ron was employed by vendors linked to IBM. Ron found his joy in golf where he and his wife, Shirley traveled to all 50 states to golf. Ron also enjoyed golfing with his church buddies and friends. For many years, Ron was a softball umpire in New York, eventually officiating at the women's softball World Series. In the winter months, Ron and Shirley spent their time at their home in Groveland, Florida. Visitation will be held on June 17, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 280 East Square Lake Road, Troy, Michigan prior to the services at 11:00 A.M. Ron passed this morning, April 28, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.
