Barbara Lent Rochetti - Class of 1958

    Barbara Lent  Rochetti of Marlboro, NY passed away peacefully on May 4, 2021 with Steve Zambito by her side. Born February 29, 1940 in Newburgh to the late Ralph and Nellie Lent. Barbara was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and a retired bookkeeper for Bard Chevrolet and partner of Picture It Framed. She is survived by her three daughters: Janine Foglietta, Lisa McDermott (Michael), Angela Danosky (Grant); grandchildren: Tara Radomski (Matthew), Amanda Zarrelli (Michael), Laura Foglietta, Kaitlyn and Hannah McDermott, Olivia and Evan Danosky, Sage Rochetti. Barbara loved her special visits from her great-grandchildren: Jonathan and Lucas Radomski and Myla Zarrelli. She was precdeceased by her son Frank Rochetti. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph Lent Jr. Barbara and Steve enjoyed going on adventures in her '67 Corvette. She also enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and her beloved cocker spaniels. Another big part of her life was her time spent with her daughter, Angela at Picture It Framed where she was affectionately known as "Babbs". Whether doing the books or chatting with customers she welcomed all and enjoyed sharing stories of Newburgh. Her infectious smile and loving personality will be greatly missed by all. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday May 6th at DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W Marlboro. Funeral service will be held on Friday, 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial donations may be made to The Dementia Society of America or a charity of one's choice.
