Coppola Lupi, of Wallkill, entered into rest at home, on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was 69. Daughter of the late Joseph and Joan (Halford) Coppola, she was born July 17, 1951 in Newburgh, NY. A lifelong Newburgh resident, Jean started her career as executive secretary for Ed Gallagher @ Gallagher GMC , moved on to a position with Texas Instruments,& Kemper Insurance. Jean left her work career to raise her son Matteo. In her later years she was a cashier for Adams Fairacres Farms, Newburgh, NY. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Jean enjoyed her time with family at her home on Chappaquiddick Island off of Martha's Vineyard. Survivors include her husband, Leslie N. Lupi; one son, Matteo Nicola Lupi and his wife Nancy of Wallkill and two grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony. At the request of the family visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:30 pm, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Rt. 32, Plattekill, NY, with Fr. Michael Omachi officiating. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh, NY.
