Dominick D'Aquino - Class of 1956

    Dominick D'Aquino joined his loving wife, Margaret Gleeson D'Aquino, on Thursday June 3, 2021 at the age of 83. He passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Dominick was born in Bronx, New York to his parents James (Vincent) D'Aquino and Lillian Catalano. He graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY. He served in the National Guard and worked as a lifelong electrician. He retired from IUOE Local 30. Dominick was a member of St. Michael's Church in Woodstock, GA and was actively involved in Sons of Italy as well as Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his children Vincent D'Aquino, his wife Patricia D'Aquino, their two sons Nicholas and Jackson of Georgia; Donna D'Aquino of Colorado; Michael D'Aquino, his wife Vicki D'Aquino, their daughter Megan, and son Zachary of Georgia; Debra Giannetto, and her husband Michael Giannetto of New York. He is also survived by brother Tony D'Aquino of NY, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Agape Hospice Care, Cherokee County, GA and/or Pancreatic Cancer Research in his name. A Wake will be held Wednesday June 9, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at DiDonato Funeral Home located at 1290 Route 9W Marlboro, NY, (845)236-4300. A Mass of Catholic burial will take place Thursday June 10, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 55 Grand St., Newburgh, NY 12550. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum, 5468 Rte. 9W, Newburgh, NY 12550.
