Kevin "Mooka" Heglar Jr., on June 9, 2021 was called home to rest in God's loving arms. He was 36. Born September 3, 1984 in Newburgh, NY. Kev attended Newburgh Schools, played Pop Warner and loved cars. Kevin could tell you what kind of car it was just by looking at it. He was also a sneaker head, as he enjoyed his collection of fresh sneakers. He loved to work, sometimes keeping as many as three jobs working mostly for New York State Thruway Authority. Kevin is survived by his father, Kevin Heglar Sr. (Kim) and mother, Sonya Latham; brother, Marc; sisters, Allicia and Kendra; loved unconditionally by both grandmothers, Bernice Heglar and Martha Latham; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be remembered for his pure heart, genuine caring ways and his love for life. Mr. Heglar will have a Walk through from 9 to 11 a.m., Friday, June 18th at The Cathedral at the House of Refuge, 131 Broadway, Newburgh, NY. Funeral service 11 a.m. at the church. Bishop Jeffrey C.
