Frances DeRobertis, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was 98. Daughter of the late Benjamin and Margaret (Hogan) Bernstein, she was born November, 14, 1922 in Newburgh, NY. "Fran", as she was known by family and friends, was retired from the Greater Newburgh Meals on Wheels, where she worked as a cook well into her 90's. She was also a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Renaldo J. DeRobertis; many nieces, nephews and cousins; Special thanks to Gloria and Dana, her primary caregivers. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Flanagan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.Donations in Frances's memory can be made to either Meals on Wheels of Greater Newburgh, 35 Cerone Place, Newburgh, NY 12550 or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
