Vincent Riccio Jr. - Class of 1968

     Vincent J. Riccio, Jr., of Newburgh, entered into rest on Friday, October 1, 2021. He was 72. Son of the late Vincent J., Sr. and Adelaide (Bauer) Riccio, he was born on April 20, 1949 in Newburgh, NY. "Rick" as he was known to family and friends, was a lifelong resident, and was a retired truck driver with Nabisco, Newburgh. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp. An avid softball player in his younger days, he was also a member of the Orange Lake Fire Department for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Riccio of Middletown and Heather Riccio of Newburgh; mother of his children, Marilyn Riccio of Marlboro; a sister, Donna Silkworth of SC; three grandchildren, Andrew, Brooklynne and Catherine; and one niece, Megan. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Joseph Riccio and a grandson, Chance Adam Horeta, Jr. Private cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Memorial Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, October 15, 2021 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550, with Military Honors at 6:00 pm. Donations in Vincent's name can be made to Wounded Warriors Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org
