Abram Martin Williams,
"Marty" Jr., 85, of Newport, NC ~ Formerly of Newburgh, NY passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. He was born September 13, 1936 in Newburgh, NY, a son to the late Abram Martin Williams, Sr. and Theresa Werner Williams. Marty served his country in the US Army National Guard and was a computer programmer for IBM. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Williams and her fiance, James Hume of Stella; and grandchildren, Courtney Pant of Newport and Christopher Pant of Sterling, VA. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Martin Williams. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12–1:30 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 1:30 p.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the SECU Hospice House at
