Lucy Pisacona, 89,
of New Windsor, NY entered into rest on November 2, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center. The daughter of the late John Fletcher and Angelina (Bonelli) Smith, she was born in North Carolina on May 10, 1932. Lucy was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and was a bookkeeper at Manufacturing and Concept Packaging and Steel Style in New Windsor, NY. She was a member of St. Francis Church in Newburgh and she loved bowling as well as her NY Giants. She had a big heart and donated to numerous charitable organizations. She is survived by her husband, Robert Pisacona; brother-in-law Ernest Eckard and his wife Deloris Eckard; niece Sandy Eckard Smith and family; as well as Linda Rocco Reyle and Gail Rocco Hicky, who Lucy thought of as her nieces.
Visitation will be held from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 5 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 11:30. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Newburgh ASPCA, 940 Little Britain Rd., Newburgh, NY 12550; or St. Francis/Sacred Heart Church Food Bank, 145 Benkard Ave., Newburgh, NY 12550.
