retired and they moved to Sebastian, Florida, where they enjoyed many magical
years together during retirement. Joyce loved life, her family and her friends.
She had a heart of gold and was always there with a listening ear or to lend a
helping hand. She was strong willed, yet kind and giving. Joyce loved to do
crafts, needlework and enjoyed shopping. Her many beautiful cross stitch pieces
and afghans could be seen all over her beautifully decorated home and were given
as gifts to all she loved. With her loving care her beautiful soul touched so
many lives. She never knew a stranger. She was a wife, a mother and a best
friend. A special thank you from the family to her loving husband Art for taking
extra special care of Joyce during their last three years of marriage. She will
be sadly missed by her family and those who loved her. Joyce was predeceased by
her parents, a younger sister, Caroline (Jackson) Smith, her in-laws, Helen and
Irvin Roller, and a great-grandson, Kyle Stevens. At the request of the family,
there were no calling hours. Interment took place at Cape Canaveral National
Cemetery. You may view the obituary and send a message of condolence online at
