Joseph R. Rotunda - Class of 1957

Joseph Rocco Rotunda, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was 83. The son of the late Joseph and Angelina (Orsino) Rotunda, he was born August 16, 1938 in Newburgh. Joseph proudly served his country in the US Army. He was co-owner of Pete’s Hot Dogs in Newburgh, and worked for the Beacon City School District. He was a member of the Mid-Hudson Bowling Association where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, Dart Ball League Hall of Fame, and was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Enfinger of South Carlina and Laura M. Kroemer of Newburgh, and his sister Carolyn Delillo of Middletown. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Monday, November 22 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A graveside service and burial will be held at 12:30 following visitation, at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. - August 16, 1938 - November 14, 2021
