Donnalyn DeStefano Weller, 58, formerly of Derby, CT and Walden, NY, died on November 20, 2021 at Hudson Valley Hospital following a short illness. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. Born in the Bronx on May 28, 1963, she was the daughter of Donald De Stefano and the late Linda Florance Perlitz Gallery who died on August 11, 2017. Donnalyn was a 1981 graduate of the Newburgh Free Academy. She had been employed as a supervisor with Swiss Army Company in Shelton, CT, and had also worked at the Cornwall Hospital. Donnalyln enjoyed ceramics, bingo, casino trips, bowling, and outdoor campfires. She always loved spending time with her family and friends and looked forward to Dinner Friday Nights with her loved ones. On July 24, 1982 at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, Donnalyn married Randy James Weller who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Christopher and Jessica Weller, Matthew and Meagan Weller, Randy and Rachel Weller, Amanda and Christopher Joyce, and Andrew and Heather Weller; her father, Donald DeStefano and his husband Anthony Gargiulo; her sister, Claudine DeStefano and her son David Miller; and her grandchildren, Christopher Weller, Benjamin Weller, Ava Joyce, Aubrey Weller, Amelia Weller, River Weller, Nicholas Joyce, Justin Joyce, Frank Reyes and Gabriel Reyes. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
