Angelina M. Ruggiero Truncali passed away on December 25th, 2021 at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital. She was 88 years old. Angelina was born on August 6, 1933 in Newburgh, NY. She is the daughter of Michael and Marzia Ruggiero. Angelina spent many years as the bookkeeper for the family business, Truncali Farms and retired from Leprechaun Lines as a Tour Director, a job she was great at and truly loved. Survivors include her brother Michael Ruggiero and MaryJane of Pompano, Fl., her sister Natalene Quick of Newburgh, NY, her son Joel Truncali and Fran of Marlboro, NY, son William Truncali and Michelle of Marlboro, NY, daughter Michele Sozio and Joe of Milton, NY, and daughter Marcie Hoffmann of Marlboro, NY. Her Grandchildren include Jaclyn Truncal, Zachary Truncali and Hannah, Taylor Truncali and Kyle, Dina Truncali, Julie Truncali, Matthew Hoffmann, Jack Hoffmann and Great Grandchild Evan Gessner and many beloved Nieces and Nephews. She is predeceased by her Parents, sister Janet Zago and Grandson Michael Vito Truncali. Our Mother had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. Those who knew her, knew she loved fiercely and would do anything for her family and friends. She also loved to bake pies and cookies for every occasion. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Route 9W, Marlboro. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
