Rose Anna Crudele, of the Town of New Windsor, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was 87 years old. Daughter of the late James and Elvira (Palentino) Crudele, she was born on July 27, 1934 in New Windsor, NY. Rose was retired from West Point and Stewart Field. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was a caring daughter, loyal sister, loving aunt and just the most sweetest and thoughtful person to everyone. Rose was a gifted and talented artist. Most of the subjects of her paintings were religious. The body of her work was a testament of her faith and devotion to Catholicism. Her paintings will forever be her legacy. She is most remembered for the loving care and commitment to her family. Rose had the great ability to harmonize to any song. She had a beautiful smile and delighted us with her wonderful sense of humor. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her sister, Caroline Crudele (George) Sarvis of the Town of Newburgh; her nieces and nephews, James Sarvis, Marianne Sarvis, Kathleen Hillman, Marjorie Politi, Joseph Hillman, Jr., Robert Crudele, Paige Delima and Shelley Crudele. Rose was predeceased by her brother, John Crudele; two sisters Margaret Crudele and Carmella Hillman; two god sons, George Sarvis III, and Michael Hillman. The family would like to thank her friend and neighbor, Sue Manning for all the loving care and assistance she so kindly provided to Rose. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rose Anna's name to Sacred Heart- St. Francis Church, 301 Ann Street, Newburgh, NY 12550. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 at White, Venuto, & Morrill FCS, 188 North Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
