Kathleen Elizabeth Passante, 62, a resident of Highland, NY passed away peacefully at home with her family on December 24, 2021. Born on February 5, 1959 at West Point, she was the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth O’Shea (O’Neill). She graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and Dutchess Community College. On September 19, 1982, she married Paul Passante at the Union Church in Newburgh, NY.Kathleen was a loving mother as well as dedicated Registered Nurse for 25 years, retired February 2019.Kathleen was loved by all who knew her. She was kind, compassionate, generous and devoted to her family. Her grandchildren were the light in her life and she shared a special bond with each of them. She is survived by her husband Paul Passante of 39 years and her four daughters Lauren Denise, Kaitlyn Elizabeth, Alyse Jean, and Ren Ann Wilson (Steve) and her four grandchildren Rylie Meadow, Sadie Elizabeth, Oliver Noah and Theodore Reede. Additionally, Kathleen is survived by her mother Elizabeth O'Shea and her siblings Christine O'Shea, Denise Heiberger, Deborah Andrianos, Sean O'Shea and Sharon Lopardi. Kathleen is predeceased by her father Daniel O'Shea. She enjoyed spending time at her beach house in Ocean Grove NJ, spending time with her grandchildren, bike riding, going to the movies, seeing Broadway performances, reading her daily devotions and her religious shows.
