Robert C. Trentch - Class of 1946

Robert C. Trentch,
87, of Bridgewater, N.J., formerly of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Aug. 8,
2016, at the Green Knoll Center in Bridgewater. Visitation will take place on
Thursday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris
Ave., Union, N.J. A service will take place at the funeral home at 12 noon.
Cremation will be private. Robert was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and resided in
Maplewood for over 40 years before settling in Bridgewater. He was an active
member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Irvington, N.J., for many years and a
proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Robert was the beloved husband of the late
Alberta G. Trentch; loving father of Carol Joerg and her husband, Edwin, and the
late Robert S. Trentch and Curt Trentch; father-in-law of Jill Trentch; dear
brother of Howard Trentch and his wife, Madora, and Dorothy Schorno and her
husband, Fred; adoring grandfather of Amy Puppo and her husband, Carlo, Kimberly
Madlinger and her husband, Drew, Stephanie Joerg, and Julie and Alex Trentch,
and great-grandfather of Ryan and Michael Puppo, Darren and Tyler Madlinger, and
Justin Joerg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to the
American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Va. 22312. Published
