Hans R. Hansen, 82 of Highland, NY, passed away at Vassar Bros. Hospital on Thursday Jan. 27th, 2022, following declining health. Born in Elmira, NY, Hans was the son of the late Clara Coe Hansen and Alf W. Hansen. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen A. Morgan; his children, Christopher (Sarah Restifo) of Kingston, NY and Sean (Kaitlin Mierisch) of Highland, NY; sister, Kristen Hansen-Burke of Clinton Corners, NY; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Hans was predeceased by his brother Ronald Hansen of Wellsburg, NY. Hans worked at WSYE TV, Elmira for 5 years and Newburgh City School District for 35 years as an ITV director.
