Levine Mintz of Schenectady, New York, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Delray Beach, Florida at the age of 84. She was born on March 5, 1937, in Newburgh, New York, to her parents Abraham Levine and Dorothy Levine (Edelson). Leila graduated from Albany State with a Masters Degree in Education. She married her loving husband, Melvin, on August 15, 1959. Leila is preceded in death by both of her parents, Abe and Dorothy; as well as her son Steven. Leila is survived by her husband of 62 years, Melvin Mintz; son Gregory Mintz (Karla); brother Jewels Levine (Marion); grandson Parker Mintz; and several nieces and nephews.
