James Bresnan - Class of 1954

James J. Bresnan, Jr. (Jim) 85 of New Windsor, NY died peacefully on February
18, 2022. He was born to the late James J. Bresnan, Senior and the late Ruth
Ciccone Bresnan on March 10, 1936. Jim was predeceased by his grandson Ian
Bennett, his wife Paula Favata Bresnan and his brother Richard Bresnan. He is
survived by his daughter Lisa Zafar and son-in-law, Syed Zafar; his son James
Bresnan, III and daughter-in-law Carmen Abarca; his son Mark Bresnan and
daughter-in-law Debra Bresnan; his daughter Beth Abarca and son-in-law Luis
Abarca; his granddaughter Emily Lulves and husband James Lulves; his
granddaughter Saira Bruno and husband Tim Bruno; his granddaughter Erika Bresnan
and husband Javier Feito; his granddaughter Aliya Zafar and partner Luke Stone;
his grandson Mark Bresnan and wife Constance Archambault de Vencay; and his
grandson Brandon Abarca; as well as his great-grandson Lucca Corey Bruno and
great-granddaughter Almudena Feito Bresnan. He is also survived by his sister
Judith Krupinski and her husband James Krupinski; his sister Cheryl Paserchia
and her husband Morris Paserchia and his brother Keith Bresnan and his wife Lynn
Bresnan. Family and friends will remember Jim’s extremely outgoing, fun, and
loving personality. He was always there to help a friend in need. Jim proudly
served in the Army National Guard and had a long career at IBM, starting there
when he was just 18 years old and retiring early at age 53. After retiring from
IBM, Jim went on to work at several different companies and continued to make
life-long friends wherever he went. A memorial funeral mass will be held on
Friday, February 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church – St. Mother
Teresa Parrish in Newburgh, NY. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held in late
